Screen Recorder Without Watermark for Windows

SwiftRec is a free, lightweight screen recorder that captures your monitor cleanly—no watermark, no sign-up, no cloud uploads. Hit a hotkey and save MP4 files straight to your PC.

Why You Need a Watermark-Free Recorder

If you've downloaded other screen recorders, you know the frustration: a big logo stamped across every frame, forcing you to buy a 'pro' version just to remove it. SwiftRec doesn't do that. Every recording is clean and watermark-free from the start because there is no paid tier.

This matters whether you're making a tutorial for YouTube, filing a bug report with a screenshot, or just capturing gameplay to show a friend. A watermark ruins the final product and wastes your time re-recording.

SwiftRec solves this by staying simple: no account, no premium features locked behind a paywall, no upselling. Download it, extract it, record.

Get Started in 4 Steps

  1. Download and extract Grab the ZIP from the link below, right-click it in File Explorer, choose Extract All. Launch SwiftRec from the extracted folder. No installation, no admin rights needed.
  2. Pick your source Click Full Screen, Window, Region, or Monitor on the toolbar depending on what you want to capture.
  3. Toggle audio Click the mic icon to include your microphone, the speaker icon for system audio, or both. Leave them off if you want a silent recording.
  4. Press the red button Hit the ● button to start recording or use the global hotkey you've configured. Press ■ to stop. Your MP4 saves to Videos\SwiftRec automatically.

What You Can Record

Before you hit record, pick what you want to capture: your entire screen, a single window, a freehand region you draw, or a specific monitor if you have two or more displays. This flexibility means you can record just the part that matters and skip the clutter.

Add microphone audio, system audio, or both. If you're narrating a tutorial, toggle the mic on. If you're capturing video playback or game sound, toggle the speaker. Both tracks go into one MP4 file, already synced and ready to edit or upload.

Optionally add a webcam bubble in the corner for reactions, talking-head clips, or product demos. Toggle mouse-click and keystroke indicators on if you want viewers to see exactly what you're pressing—perfect for how-to videos.

Portable, Local, Private

SwiftRec is portable: drop it on your USB stick, keep it on your desktop, move it anywhere you want. It runs straight out of the folder you extract it into. No installation wizard, no scattered system files, no background services running.

Everything you record stays on your PC. The app never uploads files, never asks you to log in, never phones home. You own your recordings from the moment you hit stop.

The download is tiny because SwiftRec uses .NET Framework 4.7.2, which comes preinstalled on Windows 10 and 11. No bloat bundled in, just what you need.

Output Formats

Save as MP4 (H.264 codec) for uploading to YouTube, sharing with editors, or posting anywhere that accepts video. The file is production-ready the moment you stop recording.

Or export as animated GIF for quick shares in chat, Slack threads, or bug reports where a lightweight image file is more useful than video. Both formats come straight out of SwiftRec—no conversion step needed.
